Faulkner To Feature For Hobart Hurricanes In BBL

Australian all-rounder James Faulkner has been confirmed to return to his native Tasmania to play for Hobart Hurricanes in the upcoming season of Big Bash League. Faulkner featured for Melbourne Stars in the previous seven seasons of the tournament. 




Hobart team management has signed Faulkner for three seasons as report mentioned on Tuesday (May 15). One of the finest all-rounder that Australia produced has played 47 matches in BBL. His bat has slammed total of 556 runs with quite disappointing strike rate of 109.55 for the Melbourne based franchise. He has also named 45 scalps under his name. Tasmania all-rounder has played 69 ODI for kangaroo national side. 
 

Faulkner plays for Tasmania in Sheffield Shield and is hoping to return in national color for upcoming mega platform of ICC ODI World Cup 2019. The man of the match of 2015 World Cup Final went unsold in the auction of Indian Premier League 2018.
